I am a macro OB scholar. I study how organizations manage across difference, cultural, ideological, and generational, and what it takes to keep people working together in complex contexts. I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise, a joint program of the Ross School of Business and the School for Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

I bring nearly two decades of experience working with conflict resolution and environmental organizations to my academic work, which is where my interest in how organizations operate across deep social and political divides comes from.

My academic training is interdisciplinary. I hold a BA in Ancient Mediterranean Civilizations and Policy Studies from Rice University, an MA in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies, and an MA and PhD in Sociology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
